(Kizuna)

This water organ is an artwork building on an interacting relationship between atmospheric and water pressure. Air and water are two intertwining essential elements in our nature world, especially in plant. These two elements work closely to keep every green alive in our nature world. Trees are the great testimonies of it. In Kizuna, these two elements are put together to create sound.

People connection is predestined. Times develop this connection into friendship, subsequently, interrelated bonding between two parties. This doesn’t give constraint to those who are involved; but this bonding creates beauty, which is reflected in Kizuna. In Kizuna, the swell of water raises the pistons in the acrylic tubes. This increases atmospheric pressure in the tubes subsequently. The music is created while the pressure is escaping through the yellow bronze tubes.
