Sensational Sound Path (2015)

Sensational Sound Path is a community art project. We want to encourage the people living in Sham Shui Po know their living area more. Not only look around their living place, but hear the environment soundscape. By using a new perspective, we try to figure out the unique culture of Sham Shui Po – A place mixing and matching analog culture (80s-90s) and digital culture (after 2000).

During the sound walk, I figured out what is the relationship of sound to different material such as trees, ceiling block, wood, and so on. I am impressed to hear their feedback. And they start to notice how does sound react to different constructive material around their living places.
